Your examiner wants evidence, not a ticket number.

Exam findings close on documented changes, verified on the device, filed where the examiner can read them. That is the work we do for credit unions and community banks.

The pressure you're under

An NCUA exam, an ACET assessment, or a GLBA safeguards review ends the same way: a findings list with your name on it and a response deadline. The findings are technical, but the responsibility isn't transferable. What closes a finding is not a status update or a closed ticket. It's a documented change, verified on the device, filed as evidence, and most institutions this size have no one who owns producing that. The core processor points at the network, your operations staff is running the branch, and the findings list sits in a spreadsheet, aging.

How we engage

We turn each finding into a change package: what changes, on which device, why, and what the verification output must show. Then we verify the result against device output and file the evidence. If you have an MSP, you keep them; they execute inside the contract they already have, and we verify what lands on the wire. At the end you hand your examiner a binder, not a promise.

Track record

What we've actually done

  • Turned an NCUA findings list into a ranked remediation program, wrote the change packages, and verified every closure against device configuration before it went in the exam response.
  • Segmented teller, back-office, ATM, and guest networks that had been living on one flat VLAN since the building was wired.
  • Replaced end-of-life firewalls with a Fortinet HA pair, with before-and-after configuration output captured for the evidence file.
  • Sat in the exam as the institution's technical voice, answering the examiner's questions with device output instead of vendor slideware.
  • Built board-level security reporting a non-technical supervisory committee can actually read.
